Essel Mining & Industries Limited (EMIL) is one of the largest and oldest mining companies in India. Established in 1950 EMIL is a part of the US $60 billion conglomerate, the Aditya Birla Group. We operate in the sectors of commercial coal mining, contract coal mining, Noble Ferro Alloys, iron pellets and more.
