Thomas Cherian, Managing Director of EMIL, has over three decades of experience in the mining sector across geographies.
With expertise in mining value chain, supply chain systems and project management, his competencies include strategic planning, new business development, mergers and acquisitions, and stakeholder and community engagement. Prior to joining the Aditya Birla Group, Thomas was the Managing Director of Tata Steel Mining Ltd.
Thomas is a mining engineer from Osmania University with management education from XLRI Jamshedpur in addition to executive development programme from CEDEP, France.
