Sustainability Efforts

ACML prioritizes environmental stewardship through a comprehensive sustainability strategy. Water storage ponds, check dams, and flowmeters promote water conservation. Dust suppression techniques like fog cannons and water tanks ensure air quality control. The company further reduces its environmental footprint by minimizing diesel consumption through machinery catalysts and supporting recycling efforts via scrap material sales. Responsible wastewater disposal is ensured with Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs) while continuous air quality monitoring systems guarantee adherence to environmental regulations.

Future Outlook

ACML is charting a future focused on sustainability, operational excellence, and community well-being. The company plans to significantly reduce emissions and enhance efficiency by transitioning to electric excavators starting in FY-26. Railway infrastructure will be expanded to accommodate the projected increase in coal production and dispatch. Further, ACML is committed to creating a positive impact on the local community by building a well-equipped township that provides a high quality of life for its employees and their families.
