• Ferro Chem division was established in 1980.

• It is India's largest producer of Noble Ferro Alloys.

• It has a manufacturing capacity to produce 3500MT of different types of Ferro Alloys per annum.

• The plant is located at Vapi in Gujrat.

• It is the first company in the field of Noble Ferro Alloys to be awarded "Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award commendation" during 1998, 1999 and in 2003 (Under Large Scale Category).

• This plant is accredited with ISO 9001:2000,ISO 14001:1996 & OHSAS 18001:2002.

• The Ferrochem Division of Essel Mining Industreis Ltd. has developed and commercialized a unique concept of using Sludge (an industrial waste) for producing a range of Vanadium based products.

• It's R&D team continuously endeavors to develop high value products to meet new customer requirements.
