The iron ore produced by Essel Mining & Industries Limited (Essel) is amongst the best in the country, with high iron content. Essel has four operative mines – Jilling Langalota Iron and Manganese Mines, Kasia Iron and Dolomite Mines, Koira Iron Mines and Unchabali Iron and Manganese Mines.
